This sounds like an excellent content-creation workstation. PPC has some very nice capabilities for doing work like that and a set of Macromedia tools for PPC could be just what it takes to get PPC workstations into the near-mainstream by creating a niche for them as web-development technical tools. Not really a killer app, but somehow it seems inappropriate to refer to it a as coma app, or near-death-experience app. {o;)
I think it would be worth buying the tools if they are priced the same as the x86-based stuff. Any idea if Macromedia is considering open-sourcing the tools once they are up to spec and running stably?
