Ballmer: Time to retire
Ever since he took the helm MSFT's execution has been a disaster. Time for him and Billy Boy to find something else to do. If you're ever going to hear Gates speak, take something to read. You're going to need it. The guy is audio chloroform and he just rambles on and on in that same monotone.

The only way MSFT is ever going to get anywhere is if those two go and whoever comes in after them boots out 3/4's of their senior management.

You see how well a company like Starbucks executes, then you see how MSFT executes and you realize the difference between a well run company and Castle Redmondore. And that is more or less a direct reflection of leadership at the top.

MSFT is what you get when the problem is dictating the solution.
