Why not make "Bank of America" rename itself?
I have watched this outsourcing thing with amusement since last years "Freedom Fries" debacle. We said Iraq posed an imminent threat and our leaders spent time and our tax money to "get back" at France for opposing us by renaming "French Fries" "Freedom Fries." There was no immindent threat (no WMD) from Iraq. BUT the whole time our our own companies were presenting a real and insidious threat by firing Americans to outsource our jobs to other coutries.

I am trying to remain neutral on this issue as capitalism is based on getting the best bang for your buck - So I cannot blame India for merely using our own capitalisic tendencies to defeat us. Better that than bombs. But what I can decry is the inherent hypocrify of a company like "Bank of America" firing many Americans to outsource to India. Rather than our leaders wasting our time on "Freedom Fries" last year (we have not been ousourcing our jobs to France have we?), we should have been passing legislation that says a company cannot use "America" in its name if it outsources a certain percentage of jobs in any one area ( such as support or IT) overseas. With that said, I would like to propose that Congress start by passing legislation forcing companies like Bank of America to change its name pending audit.

Say no to Freedom Fries. Say yes to a rename of American named companies who outsource.
