- I wish they would open the market. Where I live (Roseville Ca.) the local phone company has a monopoly on ALL phone services. I could get DSL from PacBell for $40.00 a month here. Instead, I would have to pay $60.00 or higher to the local service because they have control of the area. This shouldn't be allowed.
