open to interpretation, your assumption is a generalization of everybody, whereas, I'm pointed at beta users who ran other browsers to dodge IE for reasons of disdain (since this forum seems loaded with MS disdain), and others may interpret it as targeted at the Zdnet Talkback 'community'. Now if I said, everybody, still that could have been confined to this Talkback thread or Zdnet as a whole, not the general computing population.

Also the post began with ?you beta tested all the other browsers into prominence?, projecting along the lines of a beta isn't gold and bugs abound, but still a need or desire to do so put browsers on the map other than IE. No real mention of beta testing IE except for 'why not'.
