Lessons learned from open source?
Hmm, maybe that philosophy of many eyes is sinking in over in Redmond. If they really want to improve IE7, they should take the next step, rather than just having lots of people testing it and calling them with complaints, why not open the code for inspection?

Or better yet, why bother? The Mozilla code is all open sourced and just sitting there. Why re-build IE into a modern browser when you've got a better one sitting there for free? Just slap an IE tag on it and voila, MS would be up to date with the rest of the world.
