Problem is...
... I don't see anything in IE 7 that is an improvement over IE 6.

On installation I would of course immediately turn off tabbed browsing and RSS. And, having seen pictures, I would take the time needed to reduce the overhang to a single line containing File to Help, the 5 essential icons (Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh, and Home) and Address.

That would make the browser efficient, and eliminate just about everything IE 7 adds.


The programs appearing so far on the add-ons page are not a good selection. I hope that Microsoft opens a telephone number to suggest better.


I will let this beta go by.
