RE: "MS Not Pirating"
Ummm... i don't know if you really have a clue about this but Microsoft has been pirating a lot of their features, and then paying backlash fees for when they finally get caught. And this goes all the way back to Windows 98

Check it out:
In Windows 98, when you ran ScanDisk, use a dos text editor, the first thing at the beginning of the code you will see is "Copyright - Symantec Corporation"

In Windows XP, in Internet Explorer 6, Microsoft's latest patch is to block certain use of ActiveX controls to stem the tide of a pending lawsuit of patent infringment.

Not pirating enough?
1) In windows ME and XP, you cannot seperate Explorer from Internet Explorer, they are the same program. Why's that important? Because you cant choose a preferred browser on your own, otherwise your Windows ME or XP box will go completely haywire

2) LUNA Interface is not a newinterface, it's rather a clone of an old verision of Windows. Which i know is a Microsoft product, the design layout for the LUNA interface was challenged by a small startup who applied a patent for it first, but as usual BIllie and gang bought out their silence.

Microsoft DOES not do anything original anymore. Windows XP is a complete mock on the Windows NT operating system that's basically basterized to look more like a Windows 98/ME interface to give it a better look and feel. Which isn't a bad idea, but it's a recycled of older code and bad code.

Think of it this way, why do so many bugs for XP also affect NT, Win NT 2000, ME and 98? It's the same code, dressed slightly diffrently. Internet explorer is the worst of these because it's code has been recycled since the days of Windows 3.1

""MS Not Pirating
Applying features in your own versions of software is not pirating. If that were the case there would be only one office suite because in your mind any other office suite with Spell check must have pirated it from the originator. MS added Tabbed browsing to IE because it is a good idea and customers requested it. Of course I should have taken your inability to spell into account when I read your statement.

Microsoft has done great things for the world of computing and many people like to slam MS with insults because they are the "Big Boy" on the block. The only people that are going to b!tch about this little download are the people that are pirates themselves. So what if MS wants to check to see if my copies of Windows are legit. They have a right to do so.""
