Carl - why do you bother?

I see you haven't angered SS to the point that he has assigned you one of his silly nicknames, yet, but seriously, why do you bother trying to debate with him on anything?

His viewpoints and posts are so off the wall as to be completely unbelievable. I have begun to suspect that SS "the entity" is actually the truest MS "shill" (to use one of his favorite terms) on ZDNet. He is SO over the top that it seems likely to me he is actually paid by MS to make Linux/OSS supporters seem like fringe lunatics, so as to discredit those who might have an actual point to make against them.

About the only time he ever even made sense was in one message to me when he compared communicating with him to banging one's head against the wall.

It's an exercise in futility - stop feeding the troll.

(I'd say I can't wait to see what he posts in response to this, but, truthfully, I don't care, and he'll probably just prove my point, anyway)
