Macromedia Central fueled by the feedback of the Flash Community
Well, I think that the article reflects some concerns raised in the Flash Community about Macromedia Central. I have to say that the Central Team has been listening those concerns. It's important to keep on mind that the current version of Central is a developers release; this means that the idea is to get feedback from the Flash Community in the early stages of Central development. It's just the begining, so, in my opinion, we can't see the current version of Central as a final release... and many exciting things are coming!

Is also important to see Central in context. Central is more than Central. Is not just a good idea, Central has big roots in the future; a future that Longhorn and Avalon want to address too. That future is challenging not only Macromedia and Microsoft for instance, is challenging the Developer Community as well.

I don't see any "Macromedia Flash effort does slow burn" at all. The feedback fuels Central even more.
