"Hmm.. This is werid... if they Ban DVD Software... why not Ban, CD BURNERS, DVD BURNERS, also BAN hardware Software that allows you to burn CDs... from a regular DVD to DVD why dont they ban RADIOS with a Record button..."

you can copy a entire dvd with windows explorer, but still need a LICENSED player to play it, no one cares about copying, it is losing control of the player they care about
