- Here's for you, dude.

"..You sure seem to get your ******* in a bunch..."
Not really, I used Linux once and I hated it for all the reasons stated. AT this point, it's a donlt care for me as it is a don't care for 99% of the buying public.
"..some people see this as a drawback, others see it as a strength. Bottom line is the only time it's a drawback is when applications work on one and not the other..."
Dude, you got a clue - you're right. That IS the drawback.!!
"... most end users just want to double click on something and hit "next" a few times to install software..."
You mean like WIndows does today and has done for 10 years? Yeah, you're right.
"......The window of opportunity is gone... I don't believe that.."
It's always good to see lots of fighters out there because at the end of the day, more of you pushing the Linux rope will create a better Windows or OSX. However, I'm a realist. Linux has no more chance of winning the desktop than Itanium winning the desktop. The war is over, go home to your families and open up a candy store. - Posted by: Prognosticator Posted on: 04/20/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
