Oh Desktop Linux has much life to it
it needs more advertising and less 'word-of-mouth', but its more than a viable alternative. Windows actually has to show merit for moving to Vista besides Applish eye candy, and Linux has to do more than replicate the candy. No, this MS tool giveaway is no more powerful than a Sun tool giveaway. Ppl rather have them give cash as a gift, than to be made a "tool" of.
