Microsoft is wellknown market driven
Market driven is not bad thing. Every business is driven by the market. But the worst thing is its monopoly and driven by the market. The typical example was the browser war. After the dominative success of Internet explorer, then the innovition stopped.
When the margin of the market is drained up, Microsoft move its claw to other market, such as TV, Automobile etc.
If without Linux, I dare Microsoft will not roll out its next generation OS with true features.
