Computer science is a poor career choice today
Don't invest your time or money because corporations will always give the work to the cheapest labor. Choose a career path that can't be easily outsourced. It is no fun to work for most of your life and be told one day when you are 40 or 50 that you are no longer needed because your job has been sent to a lower wage country.

Corporate America just wants the "innovative" cream of the crop from the US. That means very few that graduate will actually be able to find decent jobs. One day, if a cheaper labor force in another country becomes more "innovative", they won't have a job either.

I'm sure Bill Gates is excited about future possibilites in the computer field and motivating innovative people to make it happen. Wouldn't you be excited too if they made you the richest man in the world?
