Truly Fearful Functionality:Phishing Attacks Rise by 50% month on month
Given Microsoft's previous claims on the security of it's applications, do you truly want to trust Microsoft with your ebay bidding account or your credit card details?

You find a new an email in your Outlook Inbox, it either contains a hidden worm or virus or just looks like an official email with a link to a hostile website that hacks into your computer though a vulnerability that Microsoft has chosen not to fix.

Microsoft stated that Active-X was safe to use, it is not. Microsoft stated that Internet Explorer would be made secure, it is not. Microsoft claimed it's version of Jscript and Java would be safe to use, neither was not. Microsoft stated that the newer releases of Outlook would halt the progression of emailed viruses and worms, it has not. Microsoft now claims that .NET will provide a secure environment to run hostile code, this dispite suffering the same design decisions as active-X.

Do you truly trust Microsoft to do your bidding? Or are you happy to let others use Microsoft's Backdoors to bid your money away?
