IBM heeds message to integrate IM, e-mail

The difference is...: You can turn this feature off!

I use Notes 6.5 and Notesbuddy and the choice is yours. Use some or all of the features as required. There is no determination to say that you have to use both.

I have to say though, the IM integration into Notes client is great! To be able to see who is online if you need them, etc.
