Then you need a reality check!
Quit living in the past as all your comments seem to state.
1) Macs lost out in the business world because of the simple fact that they were more than double the cost of the PC of the era. Granted, they did a whole heck of a lot more and were much easier to use, but they were double the cost.[/] And today they are still more expensive and ease of use depends on the user. Today Windows is just as easy to use again depending on the user. Some people will never get 'it".

2) The office software you use today (MS Office) made its debut on the Mac. Word, Excel, Powerpoint all were Mac apps first. And they are still made for the Mac which is fine and dandy in my book, but the newest versions come out for Windows First as with many other programs of today.

3) Mac OSX is much more secure than Windows. This is a fact that can be found on numerous websites - look at the vulnerabilities on Windows vs OSX. You will see that OSX has fewer, unless you do "George Ou math". "George Ou Math" Oh that is the same math that Apple used to claim that Macs were so much faster than PCs because their processors were better and now they are using X86 processors and they seemed to have flipped that since the Intel Switchover.

4) There has never been an independent study of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) that has shown Windows to be cheaper as a total package (hardware, software, support) than Macs. NONE. The only ones to show Windows as cheaper were commissioned by Microsoft.... That depends on how you look at it. I have found it costs more to repair and support the Macs in my school district per computer than the Windows PCs. First you have to find compatible parts only to be told you can't do the work yourself otherwise you will lose Apple's Educational "perks" as they called it. So you hunt down an Authorized service tech only to be told that it is gonna cost over a $1000 in parts and labor to replace a motherboard and power supply in a G4 Tower. Where in a PC I can run to any computer supply store and pick parts for adding on or repair (some exceptions for OEMs that like to be propietary) and do the work myself.

Mac marketshare is actually higher than the numbers would suggest. Why? 1) The figures track new sales, and 2) The machines last longer. It's not unheard of to hear a 1998 vintage iMac still being used today for productive applications. How many PC's have you had since 1998? I will give you figures only track new sales, but I am sure it is only a couple percentile difference. I know plenty of people that still use late pentium 2's and Pentium 3 class machines for productive applications like Internet, word processing, email, etc... I cannot count myself as I am a power user and I build my own computers (something you cannot do with a Mac I might add) and I currently have 4 usuable computers.
