bitty hopes nobody notices the troubles with his demi-god
---I doubt you have been keeping up with the news on this but the Munich "switch" is proving to be a disaster.---

Let me see, switching to an entirely new platform causes a few problems. Gee, how amazing. Who would have ever thought?

bitty loves to trot out something as insignificant as this as proof Linux isn't ready for the enterprise. Boy, do I have a few surprises for you bitty.

Surprise first, the Army's struggle with AD is now going on three+ years and that is staying with the same platform. They're going from nt 4.0 to w2k. Where is the MS magic that is supposed to make this work, bitty? Their troubles make the few, insignificant problems in Munich pale in comparison.

Surprise second, the unified Navy, Marine network, again, with bitty's supported platform, MS, has so many problems they have totoally scrapped the plan, hired a new contractor and started over at square one. Two for two failures, both starting with MS, both moving to MS, both such miserable failures they are on the verge of being scrapped and placed in mothballs.

Tell us again, bitty, how MS waves it's magic wand and everything just magically happens. Of course, we won't be able to see it. We're not in bittyland.
