I don't need a court to tell me SCO doesn't have a case. The few code snippets they've released were shot down by the real authors. And the whole "we've got a code secret" charade of not showing anyone the infringing code. Anyone with a brain knew that was a scam.

If someone is infringing my copyright I can produce the evidence. I not only have the original code, I have generational versions leading up to the final. SCO's had...how long? Over a year at least. And their so called infringing code has gone from millions of lines, to less than 3,600 and those few are contested both by Novell and the authors. They won't show it because they don't have anything to show.

SCO's a loser little nowhere company that was going down the crapper before this started and tried a last desperate gamble to litigate their way to a buy out with the last big chunk of cash they were ever going to get. Failing that they boosted their stock price enough for corporate officers and investors to cut themselves a slice of the pie before heading into bankruptcy.

Disgraceful conduct, pathetic company, loser product line. And no court is ever going to change any of that.
