The hell it aint! People are not to behave like animals...though some do. Absolutely ludicrous to push birth control on people who don't want it.

Maybe your notion of "provide" is messed up. I guess that's what we should expect in a world that now values the material ahead of spiritual goods. The thing is, the poverty could be solved if we wanted to. And too many people is not the cause of it. This is known fact. To the contrary, there's now a birth shortage in Western Europe and the U.S., and economic problems are now starting to result - e.g. payer to recipient ratio for social security programs, labor shortages, etc. There are cities and states in Europe now doling out $$ to couples to have children...i.e. incentivizing it. It's 1st world greed that's the problem.
