Windows more expensive at any price
My own experience has confirmed what a lot of businesses already know. Windows would cost more even if Microsoft gave it away for free.

Sure, it can be expensive to kick a bad habit and start fresh. But like anyone that has successfully completed a 12 step program can tell you - it's worth it when you come out the other side.

Now that we have exorcised MS from our data center, we do not have virus problems, or systems never crash, we do not have to take systems offline every week for patching, and we get to spend time with our families instead of trying to figure out what the latest Redmond patch has screwed up.

Keep laughing Mr. Ballmer, I sure am.
