The good ol' days
If you only knew how close posts like this were to posts of 8 or 9 yers ago on ZDnet, you'd see the humor as well.

You just have to replace a couple terms to be relevant to the time period.

The constant is that MS's dominance is "doomed", but it's always "almost here". Meanwhile, every time that "almost here" comes to pass, MS is even *FURTHER* away from being "doomed".

Don't worry. I'll remember you (well, probably not by name) when I post this post again in 5 years time to the new guys that have their finger on the pulse of technology that is just about to bring MS down. happy
