Yup; at a 63% growth rate Linux catches up eventually.
I was thinking about how long Linux could have been growing at 63% and be losing ground, but what I wrote was wrong.

Now, let's consider where that Linux growth is coming from.

Assuming 63% growth annually, how long will be required for Linux to consume the entire Unix server share?

Assuming say 5% growth in the total market annually and Microsoft continuing to grow at 16% a year, what share of the market will Microsoft have at that time?

By my calculations... Microsoft will remain profitable in the server category.
