Sued ? By whom (i.e.----who has standing to complain about a tool like the site finder thing--which is an implementation of a tool described in the RFCs)....and--for what (i.e.--who has shown any harm from the convenience of not getting an ERROR 404 when you mistype a site, and, instead, are offered some likely alternatives)??? The lack of intellectual maturity and rigor amongst our population never ceases to amaze me...

If verisign does get the right to redirect 404's, I'm going to sue them. Why? Because I WANT ALL THAT FREE TRAFFIC DIRECTED TO MY SITE! I WANT ALL THE MILLIONS OF ADVERTISING DOLLERS! I WANT THE POWER TO GRAB MICROSOFT, IBM, SUN, AND EVERYONE ELSE ON THE GOL-DANGED PLANET BY THE DANGLIES AND BELLOW AT THE TOP OF ***MY*** LUNGS "SCREW WITH ME AND I'LL REDIRECT MISTYPED 404'S TO YOUR COMPETITION!"

ahem. excuse me. I sort of got caught up in the moment, drooling over all the billions of dollars of advertising and kick-backs I'd be getting from all those major corperations.
