That was an excellent summary of verisigns attempts? at thievery Larry! And pointed out most of my ... concerns (/sarcasm off) about sitefinder and their hijacking of my browser.

However, for those that don't remember (or choose not to), ICANN didn't stop verisign until they had massive amounts of complaints from not only the domain name registrars, but ISP's, admins and folks that just got tired of being "redirected" even when the sites they were lookig for DID exist! I know that I had lots of fits with sitefinder when I would click on a link that I knew existed (having been there and hence HAVING the link) and that ... that ... thing would pop up and tell me "is this what you were looking for? or maybe one of these?"
Now, unless someone decideds otherwise, that's exactly what ICANN was supposed to do since they're the "governing authority" regarding domain names and they were well within their rights with the amounts to curtail verisigns obnoxious tactics as far as I'm concerned!
