Scam artist's heavan!: This is the type of beaurocratic problem that permitted the $5000 per electric wheelchair scam perpetrated in the Houston area to the tune of tens of millions of dollars from Medicaid/Medicare.

While legitimate doctors haven't made the transition, scam artists take advantage of it to flood the system with bogus claims (both electronic and paper).
