Different problem
What you say makes sense for 6 servers. The IT dept I'm part of is running over 700 physical servers today. Distributed over multiple geographic data centers.

These are mostly running app servers, most clustered, some stand-alone. The app servers are running many different applications. We need to adjust capacity based on demand by application. Deployment by installation to all of these systems is very, very time consuming. Blades don't address either of these problems. Virtualization and use of images allows near real time adjustments in application capacity.
