This guy is right.
Running several OSs via Virtualization is *not* a substitute for having the computer power you need. You need a lot of CPU power and RAM to run several OSs.

What it *is* useful for, is running a second OS for that one app that needs it. Also, it's going to end up being the only safe way to surf the net. You do your web surfing in a crippled VM, and then kill it when you're done. Result: no infections.
