If you don't like it, don't buy it. Nobody is forcing any of the users to buy Microsoft software and there are MORE than enough Operating systems out there to choose from. I'm quite certain these features can be shut off if needed. And I'm also sure that any "PDF-Like" documents that Microsoft will create will not be an issue to Adobe, considering they hold the vast majority of Portable document technology by all publishing systems abroad.
Even when Microsoft tries to make up for the high prices they charge, by adding smaller bundles within to give it more features.. everyone still whines. And again, the whiners are mostly those who don't even use the OS.

If you don't like the OS.. go opensource and find software that will do the things you want it to. Cope with it for a few years, stay in your house and spend all your time whining about it. Maybe you'll accomplish something meaningful. Maybe you'll end up being another M$ hater and *nix fan.
