Re: I don't think
I have used OSX and think it is about the same or slightly
slower with all the glitter turn on. 5 years to go completely 64
bit is a long time but not unreasonable like you guys are
claiming to get the industry onboard. As for copying Apple, give
it a rest. You guys copied Zerox and MS wrote software for Apple
at one time and what was copied was cosmetic. Everyone copies
Daimler Benz when they put 4 tires on their car since they were
the first horseless carrage.

Microsoft did in fact copy Apple's UI, even though it was a 3rd
rate copy. Yes Xerox created mouse and GUI. Apple
licensed it and made it commercially viable. It wasn't until Steve
Jobs convinced Bill Gates to write apps for this new computer,
that Anyone at Microsoft saw a GUI. Wasn't it 5 or 6 years ago
that MS finally settled with Apple over the stolen IP? Something
to do with a $150 million stock purchase. Oh wait that's a typical
MS strategy, steal IP then settle out of court.
