But Windows is more involved not to break too many apps.
Linux doesn't care about this.

Ubuntu is the best desktop linux out there but it cannot hold a candle to Windows. I know cause I test drove them both. Surf speed was close but the LAN and local machine was much faster on Windows. The only features it had were duplication of utilities and programs. Kind of dumb if you ask me.
