CFO is calling a meeting...
My CFO has hired some outside financial consultants and they have written a scathing review of our IT investment dollars. I saw the report and it mentioned things like "Linux can be used for edge computing services and departmental database services". I immediately copied the document to a thumb drive and brought it to my rep to get Microsoft's official response. My rep recommended to mention Virtual Server 2007 as a way of testing Linux. Being the release of the product is pushed back, it will buy me some time to use Microsoft "facts" to defeat this latest attempt at another lame attempt to disrupt our Microsoft "anytime anywhere anyplace" strategy. My rep also gave me some VBscript code to copy questionable content to the consultant's notebook in an attempt to show he is not vendor neutral.
