Yes, we will also tell our grandkids about when all OSes were incompatible
And there was no choice. They will be laughing, they won't believe it. You see our grandkids will be be able to get any application for any OS. The video driver thing will be a thing of the past since all OSes will have a common driver model that is backwards compatible. They will wonder how all people could possible want the same dorky looking OS. They will wonder why we were willing to put up with all the incompatibilities.
