AT&T to launch VoIP nationwide

VoIP: I don't get it. I have been using AT&T VoIP since 1996. Why is the U.S. so far behind?

Also, for about $35/month(with local phone service) we have 45 Mbps ADSL service that includes free VoIP calls to anyone else on the service and very cheap international calls.

Also, FTTH is available in major cities at 100Mbps for about $70/month
