We have started to MASH...
We have been MASHing it up here for a few years now. We have so much unstructured data being mined by Excel and Access it is not even comprehensible to the average person. Of course, the challenge for us to integrate as many Microsoft products into one application as humanly possible. We had some engineers attempting to write a seismic stress application in plain old vanilla C++. I had the servers removed because they were not going to use Microsoft Visual Studio. They wanted to use an Intel compiler. Then I told them the project would require Office 2007, SharePoint 12, Exchange 12, SQL Server 2005 (clustered), Biztalk 2006, MIIS, IIS, Windows Server 2003 R2, ADAM, Active Directory and Content Management Server. It was a total MASH. My rep then took me out and offered to MASH the licensing costs as well.
