Nonsense
Although Windows has largely maintained its dominant share of the operating system market, the software maker's inability to regularly update the product poses a growing risk to its cash cow.

Utter male bovine excrement.

Microsoft's operating-system income hasn't dropped a bit since XP came out, and it's not going to surge with a new version. MS' business depends on getting a "tax" from computer OEMs and from Enterprise licensing from large companies, which pay based on headcount regardless of what operating systems they use (including Linux and Win95).

The biggest problem MS faces is that if they keep the platform the same for too long, it gives others a chance to become compatible.
