Your argument is interesting, but absolutely terrible and tragic
news.
For such a person to be able to get the product out the door and
get people to buy it means everything bad for customers -- it
would only be good news for the stockholders.
It would mean an inferior and unfinished product is dumped on
users; that they would most likely be cheated out of their
money, and that most would continue getting only minimal use
out of computer technology that should far outstrip it's common
functions.
