Titanic, eh?

Your predecessors of 8-9 years ago on *THIS VERY WEB SITE* used the exact same analogy for any move MS made. Any reshuffling at all, no matter how successful it was.

I bet MS can only hope to repeat the "smashing into an iceberg" that has hit their coffers since then.

Hopefully for MS, you're exactly as accurate as Lewis "All I know how to do is cut and paste" Mettler, etc. etc. etc. (Funny, I must be getting old. I can't remember any of the other old names from around here. Can anyone else remember some of Lewis' old cohorts?)

I would guess a decade from now (assuming zdnn.com were still around), there's be some new set of folks that would make the "Titanic" deck chair analogy for some head of some MS division moving elsewhere. It'll still be amusing then, too, since all anyone will do is *hope* for the downfall of MS, but no one will actually *do* anything about it.
