Both of you are right...

but OS/2 isn't completely dead. The computerized cash registers at the local Stop & Shop store run on OS/2, for example. And I've seen at least one ZDNet poster who uses OS/2(I think his nick is rcsteiner), so I'd say it's not dead, just not really visible anymore to take notice. It would be cool if IBM open sourced it, though, to give it a new lease on life as "the anti-Gates" of OSes.
