Not an advantage for all...
Sometimes what one person sees as an advantage another sees as a disadvantage. Take the whole GUI as an example. Someone like me who started off professional life in AT&T Unix System V sees an advantage to not even installing a GUI layer for a file server. Someone coming into my server room with only Windows experience wouldn't see the advantage. In fact, if they walked into that kind of situation I'm pretty sure they'd see it as a disadvantage of Linux that it could have been installed without a GUI. The bottom line is that advantage is in the eye of the beholder.
