Kernel Version 2.6.16?

Funny thing: I am upgrading my Fedora Core 4 system to Core 5 as we speak, using the nifty Yum Upgrade feature (allows you to do it via Yum repositories rather than from CD/DVD-ROM).

But the Kernel package that is being installed identifies itself as:

kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5

(Note that the latest/greatest FC4 kernel is kernel-2.6.15-1.1833_FC4--so this is a "later" kernel, just not 2.6.16).

I'm not sure if this is somehow related to the Yum upgrade repositories' being "behind the times" or what.

Anybody know?
