And yet, Linux has been running very well on both platforms for quite awhile now. Linux will probably be the first to run on Cell processors and by the time the rest of the industry (MS, Apple) get around to it, Linux will be well on the way with a large and growing stable of apps designed to take best advantage of the technology.
