PS - Don't forget...
the XBox 360 "port" came out last year, without SPU support. Between the time of this IBM article:

http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/power/library/pa-cell/

and this week's Linux kernel, it's obvious that work has been done to utilize the SPUs with Linux. Is Microsoft working to add SPU support for 360, or are they keeping it as is, being as the XBox is costing them so much already.
