Yeah, that one got me too.
"...people want to download activeX controls..."
No I don't. Nobody does.

Nobody gets on the web and says "What do I want to do today? Hmmm... I want to download some activeX controls." That's like Weird Al's clasic song Mr. Popeel: "I wanna shine some pennies."

Another great line from Bill: "for the key new technologies ...--DHTML, JavaScript, XML capabilities--we've been the pioneer."

Since when? This man seriously beleives his own hype. He really thinks Microsoft is an innovator. Bill, listen to me: You're Not an Innovator. You make money by making all your products work the same way with your monopoly product Windows. That's it. That's all you do. If MS Windows was split off into a separate comopany, none of your other products would be 'best of breed'. None of them.

So get back to work on IE7, Bill. People are waiting for you to 'innovate' by adding tabbed browsing.
