Well, all Americans believe in fairnesss, well, as long as
it is fairer for the Americans than everybody else.

I for one think that the competition will be good for us in the long run, but we need to take it head on and compete, and deliver the same value for the money as the rest of the world. We do not need the whiners. It will mean that some Americans will make less money, since they have to compete with wage earners in other countries. They will typically make more money than foreign counterparts since with the language and culture differences, and the long distance communications, Americans working locally are worth more. But, for some things, the location does not matter that much and the jobs will gravitate to where people work harder for less money.

Hopefully this is a wake up call for the lazy Americans used to working half heartedly and making good wages. Can you GM union workers here me??? You at least need to figure out how you can work more efficiently so that GM can make money. You need to relax job restrictions and do everything you can to raise productivity so your wages will not fall too far. Yes, you will have to raise productivity AND accept lower wages, if not, we will all by driving Toyotas before long, and you will be standing on the corner begging for spare change.

And, another thing, we need to limit executive wages, how about 100 times the lowest paid worker as a maximum, INCLUDING stock options and bonuses.
