Reproducing in digtal still has costs
For the most part I enjoyed this article and agreed with most arguments and respectfully disagreed with certain parts.

This for instance is very odd.

So you have to say to people, "This cassette tape costs a dollar to make; if you don't give me a dollar I can't make another one." In the digital world, nothing has a marginal cost. Once you make the first one you can make an additional million at no extra cost, so you should only have to pay that cost once.

He says he is a tech person but then says that reproducing in a digital format, for download I would assume, is free after the first copy is made. It is not free. Someone must have a server that runs on electricity and has an internet connection inorder for others to download yoru content. Any IT person knows that even things as simple as mail servers cost money to operate. I am surprised that someone with as much sway as Eben Moglen would watch his word better.
