Makes you wonder why they are doing it though
These programmers are trying to mask illegal activity. No one is hounding me for distrubing open source files on P2P or distributing my own software on P2P. There is no need for this. The only ones getting into trouble are the ones who are violating the law.

Now I can't say I agree with the law. Copyright length is ridiculous but at the same time I'm not breaking the law just because I don't agree with it. In fact I think the RIAA are just as bad as the people infringing on copyrights and I feel the RIAA is just plain stupid.

P2P helps promote music but the RIAA memebers can't control it. Well they can't control chat, news groups, ftp, or HTTP either so who cares about control of P2P. In the end the RIAA members will die off or adapt, it's their choice. Already the Independent Labels are booming while the big 5 are suffering from lower and lower sales.
