Just shows who Uneducated on copyright that artists are
It's no wonder they get signed to these crappy contracts. They don't understand what copying is and how copyrights works when they sign those over to Record Lable.

If I can make a copy of song for next to nothing then that song's value is very little reguardless of how much work you put into it.

It's the same thing for software. To make a buck in software you have to support it. Just try and sell someone some software with out supporting it. You will be lucky if you make a few bucks as there is always a sucker. Relying on the sucker to make money is a bad business model. Kind fo like HMV in mall. They charge $22 for CD that I can buy in any other store for $15. They rely on the sucker sale to make money. I knew a guy that ran his business into the ground because he always felt that there would be someone stupid enough buy over priced hockey cards. Needless to say he's no long in business.
