Ballmer simply does not know when to quit. MS has been convicted for monopolisitic activities here in the US and abroad. MS products are not popular because they are good, they are popular because they are the 500 pound gorilla and they throw their weight around.

Note to Ballmer, try developing an OS that is sleek, fast, efficient, secure, and does not require everyone to upgrade their systems, for it to properly work. Vista is clearly a bad joke in the same vein as Windows Me. Until you can get the bloat out of Windows and real secuirty in place for Windows all the bells and whistles in the world will not make it a good product.
